Since 2019 Christie has been on the Mojave Transportation Museum board of directors as the secretary. She is an active community member of Tehachapi through her employment with the Loop newspaper for the past two and a half years. She has participated in their advertising campaigns, archiving all the past Loop issues and magazines at the local Tehachapi museum and is also a board member of the Tehachapi Visitors Commission. Christie is ready to take on the important role of coordinating Plane Crazy Saturdays. Excited to meet the amazing speakers and visitors.
Her goal with this endeavor is to have civilians of all ages feel comfortable and welcome at the Mojave Air & Space Port at Rutan Field. Engaging with aviation and the history of Mojave transportation “From Mule Teams to Space Dreams” Christie is honored to be a small part of Mojave’s transportation history.
